Default 6-point roll bar

One of my local car buddies has a 6-point that I want to buy. It's the Wolfe one, but is the coupe roll bar the same as the vert?

no, think about it, the rear most mounting points are different. You can also take a look at the wolfe website for pics. I am looking at the same one eventually.

Damn...I've never seen a roll bar in person, so can't compare. I was going to get a really good price too

I have seen the roll bar for the regular f bods in person and the whole back of the cars are different than our. the two rear points on ours have to go down right behind the back seats (saw great pics on a vert car for sale) the coupes stay farther out (no vert to worry about) and go further back. i know the one I want from wolfe with the door swingouts in cro-moly would be pricey by the time it is welded in.

Ya, I have to get one. My local track won't let me use the nitrous since I'm obviously faster than 13.49 lol

I am as well, but LACR will let run up to 11.5 without the roll bar and gave me no hassles. But the track sucks and is closing at the end of the summer.

I drove to Wolfe and picked up my six point weld in roll bar, I don't know what the shipping would be but I can tell you the roll bar for the vert is very nice. I did get mine in mild steel with swing- outs on both sides and notched at right around $600.00.

yes it is a wolfe bolt in. the rear bolt holes dodnt line up at all and the front bars where you have to drill into the frame is kinda bs bc they are narrow and your way off track if you miss the frame. i think a weld in would be alot better, esp if you have a welder.

ZFan & Musclehead are you guys still looking to get a Wolfe roll bar?

If yes why don't we talk to wolfe about a group purchase to see if they will discount for us?

Let me know

Cool, I was trying to organize one for the guys here in California to also save on the shipping as I could deliver them from my work but since they make each one per order they could probable save some money regardless of shipping but making several sets assembly line style. We need to get a couple of more people on board to make it happen. then we can contact them about it.

Ya too bad you guys are all on the west coast! But if I can get in on the group buy just PM me or something. The local track keeps kicking me out for not having a roll bar and I love the look of the 6pt setup in a vert!

Cool, That's 3 so far.

1 thing we will have to work out is how to make the payment if they do go for it. They will all have to be paid for before they would start any of them.

Need to here from Zfan and I will see if I can find one or two more today.
