Lightening a vert?
rt. .773 2.311 60' 13.777@105.47
.427 2.477 14.074@103.65
.458 2.272 13.719@104.55
.529 2.287 13.813@103.67
I know, I know, the rt's sucked big time, this was my first
Any ideas on lightening the load anyone? Other than spare tire and jack?
taws6m6, don't worry about your R/T unless you plan on racing in a program - it doesn't affect the ET. What you should be looking at are your 60' times - those are what you need to work on! You need to get those down under 2.0. Three words for you: Practice, Practice, Practice!

13.406@106 13.53@105 13.43@107 I knew the vert had more in her!! I am going back this weekend and am gonna take the spare tire and jack, and i dropped a hitch that I used for towing a jet ski a few yrs ago. Maybe a 13.30? Not bad for a vert with lid and loudmouth huh?
If we are talking about an 07, you need some big HP mods.
. I am just getting into racing. I forgot to mention that was on some bald *** kumhos. I just toasted the spec clutch. Thats okay, I just had the shittiest one they made. I spent all of my 9" $ on purchasing a mcleod street twiin. And i will hopefully have some drag radials coming in in about a week or so. I am trying to cut down on my 60 ft. times right now. Still undecided on which radials to go with. Leaning towards the 555r's. I need a tire that hooks well and i can still drive on everyday. I am gonna murder the 10 bolt next time i go to the track!

My 2000 T/A vert. weighs 3560# w/o me in it. With gears and a 3200 stall w/supporting bolt-ons, I beat my friends'02 Z06. My 12.78 to his 12.9x. I did run drag radials.
