Default C5 Cam Installed **Video**

***Updated with Dyno numbers below***

Well the cam spec'd in my signature along with all the other work is done except for the gears. Here is a quick video of a cold start this morning.

The car pulls extremely hard, and I can see that different tires are definitely in the future as I now have some serious traction issues.

Dyno numbers coming soon. Thanks to my car guru!! (Full-Force) He really treats your car like it's his own, and spent a good bit of time just making sure that everything was right.

Hi... I remember we talked earlier, and I told you I would try to get a sound clip. I really like the way your car sounds with the Stingers.

I have the Random Tech Hi-Flow cats. I am still getting used to the exhaust. I don't have Stingers, but have the XR-1, and it is pretty loud inside the car.

Okay...I finally got it on the dyno. Although I wasn't too concerned with them, I am very happy with the numbers. But I am even happier with how the car pulls.

nice numbers! pretty dang good for a 230/228 without heads and with a stock ls6 intake!

how do you like the exhaust? i figured LT's and XR1 on a cammed car would be near deafening, which is what i'm after. ha!

Wow, very impressive numbers. Congrats!

Just curious, any particular reason for the reverse split? The 230/230 with the same lobes and lsa seems to make great power as well.

Car sounds great, and y2kc5's setup sounds nice as well. At idle the no cats and stingers seem pretty close to cats and xr1s.

That's correct. I had looked at a few of the threads on here, and a cam that Predator Z had talked about caught my eye, so I e-mailed him and he spec'd this one out for me.

It drives great, and the exhaust is only real loud at WOT. Other than that, it gets a lot of attention.

I have another thread in the internal section where I have a dyno video posted. It shows how it sounds at WOT.

He has headers listed in his sig. If he made 417 cam-only and no headers, I'd be putting that cam in my FRC tomorrow.
