The naca ducts were a thought because, I didn't wanna put smaller sized piping on the inlets of the turbos, like you see on every other PTK kit,..plus, I couldn't afford to get a hood that would allow for the extra hood clearence to allow for larger pipes off the turbos...SOO.... my next best guess, after looking at MULTIPLE race cars,...and high speed rockets(callaway sledgehammer for example.)...was to put the ducts in,..one for function, two for something totally different then we've seen on vettes in the past.
My initial build, was for street racing,..not anything standing mile,..now, being slightly smarter, and not really wanting to go to jail again or loose my car,...I started gearing for a more sanctioned kind of deal... I learned mid flight, talking to aerodynamisist(however you spell that crafty word)... that I should probably COVER the naca ducts for the mile events.
I probably will but, only after I run multiple tests with and without.
I do appreciate the heads up and insight on the build, very much welcomed. Keep em coming!! and thank you.
Mike,.. thank you sir. can't wait to posts some graphs!! Look at these sexy pieces of art!!! Almost a shame to cover them up.

left to do-
to start car-
wire in versafuelr for injectors,
get plugs, nobody had them today,
run wires
mount driver side coils
tighten-verify fuel lines tight
add coolant, bleed
add power steering-bleed
wire in fuel pump
what else-
upper control arms, 4 corners
interior
widebands
Adding the fuel system....pretty much took up any and all space that I had left over for anything...so,....once it's running,...im gonna take it down again and do all vaccum lines in hard lines, and also relocate power steering...should add more room.

Im not a huge fan of the head lights or the hood. I love that you painted the rear and you got a good choice in wheels. The build that your doin should turn out real nice, cant wait to see the numbers. Keep us posted.

Thanks Tony, appreciate it. It had the dumps open there, right off the DP's, near the oil pan. Should sound a tad different with my mid pipes,... can't wait to have tail pipes out the back though.
