I'm not sure words can describe how exited I am today. I well over exceeded my goals with the car today. A huge thanks to blownlt1 for offering the opportunity to run at MIR today January 6th. I got the car ready last night and at 6:30am I left for my 3hour ride to Maryland International Raceway with the C6Z bolted up and ready to go, skinnies,drag radials mounted and looking good.

I had several runs and needed to brush off the month off with no racing not even driving a stick car. So once that was done I started getting in my groove.
I cut a total of (10) 1.5x 60fts today with my Monster Stage 3 clutch. So to say I was pleased with that and held the shifts was crucial to getting every bit ouf the car today.

Here if you's wanna feel sick try breaking your kneck to watch this Go Pro Hero Camera angle from the side of the car. My guess is I should've tilted the damn thing up so it wasnt shooting the video sideways!
I have to say on the first pass in THIS video you will see I actually go to shift to 3rd and see the 1.60 60ft and leave out and go around for another hot lap figure it wasnt worth running out IMO The shifting really doesnt sound that great on here. I have more video on the side like this and 2 other passes you can clearly hear the shifts were better. It was actually just the launch IMO that saved me. BETTER TO COME!

If by heavy you mean overweight then yes, that is the only heavy that applies.

How is the rear liking your launches? Are you slipping it out fast or dumping it?

The C6Z rear is VERY strong in comparison to C5/C6 rears. I should know cause I wheel hopped this thing so bad twice I thought I was gonna pick up parts in the next town over. Not good!!! Now I didnt do it on purpose obviously and backed out right away but scarey stuff let me tell you.
As for the launch with this car its actually completley different than my fbodies and C5's. This car due to the very broad torque range i'm actually revving up and as i see the RPMs slowly crest 4000rpms I start letting the clutch up and squeaze into the throttle slightly faster and if timed perfectly it'll cut a 1.5x almost every time even with a bog or spin.
I definitely have a little room to improve on the launch and a little on the 2-3-4 shifts IMO. With a little better air, smoother launch, better shifting I think I can get a 10.2X out of her. That will be pretty interesting considering the stock gear 3.42s. The fastest bolt on C6Z is Gary2004Z06 and they make some amazing things happen with Angermanagement, Vettewrench, Tune time to run 10.19's with 1.40 60fts. That is gettign work done right there!!!

If I can get a 1.47 60ft, better air, better shifting,smoother launch I'm going from Vettewrenches estimation of 10.25's.

Who is this Zturd guy anyways? Must be a CF guy that posts a lot in the C6Z waxer section over there. I bet he also hangs out on the C5 performance section,that's where the real racers live anyways. Fartster is definitely on a roll,hope he hits that 10.2x soon.
