26. I was paying 230 something when I was 24 and it dropped to 150 when I turned 25. I'm now paying 175/month on the vette.

My Insurance went down. Yeah I am not lying it went down. I was paying 550 every 6 months on my 2000 Mustand GT and went to the vette and went to 460 every six months and with 500 deductible with Full Coverage. I was 17 with the Stang and got the Vette at 18. I am 20 now

That sucks.. Who do you have? I am through State Farm, a bunch of discounts, good student, multi car, multi line, etc.... 22 years old... A recent letter from the department of revenue stating that if I get one more ticket I lose my license.... So in other words... lots of tickets... For my 99' vette when I bought it in december (21 at the time) and was quoted $58 a month full coverage.....

$58 a month for full coverage? How the hell are you doing that? I've got state farm as well. I also have my home and life insurance through them, plus I have no tickets. Maybe it's because I live in Phoenix now and we have the most car thefts in the U.S. I used to live in Manhattan, KS too, and my insurance was insanely cheap on a 95 camaro.

I bet that is the reason, I know location is a BIG part of it!!!! Did you go to school here also? I have home through them also, several cars, etc...... They told me it was so cheap due to it being 5 years old, and not many people my age drive C5's so the accident statistics are low... maybe they didn't know what they were talking about, but that was their reasoning behind it... I can buy an 04' Cobra for $100 a month full coverage.... I was paying only like $28 a month full coverage on a brand new GSXR1000.... Insurance is cheap, and you won't see me complaining anytime soon!!! lol...

we have the life and home insurance through state farm through them as well.... all i know is when i went form a v6 mustang to a v8 camaro it went up but that is normal....

so i was just wondering how much it would go up or down for a vette... i think the car insurance is around $575 per 6 months

Yup, graduated in Dec. of 2000. I think the only thing I miss about Kansas is the huge insurance breaks you get.

Labor Relations....what a joke. I was in MIS for 3 1/2 years and then my GPA dropped below a 3.5 so I got kicked out. Gay. So, I pretty much just got a receipt to get out of college.

vettes usually are cheaper to insure than f-bods/mustangs, etc. prolly cause mostly old farts own 'em. mine runs me about 76 bucks a month for full coverage. I have 1k deductable and use it for pleasure only driving. that beats the multi-car discount, and if you have more than one car you should look into it.
