Default c5 race star wheels fitment

well i searched here and all over for the correct fitment with specs and all. i could never find the exact answer so i bit the bullet and decided to try it all out. i wound up ordering 17x9.5 for the rear with 6.875 back spacing. i really wanted a 10 or a 10.5 but they didnt have anything with the backspacing that i thought would work. i also ordered 17x4.5 for the front with 1.75 b/s. i think the front is going to stick out a bit so i may have the pad on the wheel machined down maybe a quarter inch. i have the rear tires mounted, went with a nitto 05r 315 radial. im waiting on the front tires to make it in to me before i can get it all mounted up. let me know what you think about it all. i will have pics of the rear installed this weekend. fronts are probably a week or so out.

The fit was perfect, they balanced well, the price was just right, but the finish isnt perfect. What I mean is that I can see some micro scratches in the finish. And they are made in China. I didnt know that till they showed up. Thats not necessarily a deal breaker but I was unaware of that.

The fronts I have but I still need tires. From my research I only have two choices m&h and hoosier. Both will cost about 400 for the pair. Just seems a bit steep to me. I also think I may have to machine the pad down on the front about a half inch or so. They only offer 1.75 b/s and I think I actually need 2.25. I will see here in about a week or so.

You can run a 205 tire on those front wheels no problem. 205/55 is what i have on mine. They were 91 each.
