Default Anybody done cut-outs on a c5?

Anybody done cut-outs on a c5? If so, can you tell me/us where you put them and how they are working out>

Also, what about electric cut-outs such as the McCord2 or QTEC? Any experience with these?

Many thanks,

gary

I'll try to find some pictures of how MTI installs them on C5s. Looks/fits nicely under the rear axle area.

I had one customer use dual 2-1/2" cutouts nicely on a C5. As Tony said, you have to put them right by the transaxle. They fit really nicely, but it is VERY tight back there. When the MPP2 is installed, you don't have more than a 1/4" of clearance when bouncing around with the exhaust. But, it does fit. The MPP2s are mounted at 45 degree angles with the motors tucking upwards. I don't know about the QTEC, but check the overall length to make sure it fits. What you can do with my unit is to download the template from the website and print it out. When you get your cutouts welded on, take that and they can use it to position the cutouts so that the MPP2s fit without a problem.
