Default Corsa Indy vs Z06 Ti exhaust?

Corsa Indy vs Z06 Ti exhaust.

Is there any power difference?

I'd like to quiet my car down a little and can make a little money doing this switch.

Thanks,
Eric

Lou Gigliotti said he saw 7rwhp difference between the Z06 Ti exhaust and I *think* borla stingers. He said the Z06 catback is definitly a little better than the stock C5 catback.

You'll love how quiet it is <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

An '01 Z06 that had just recieved an MTI heads/cam install put down 436 Rw w/ stock cat-back....then they added some Indys and it made 441 Rw, no other changes.

Doesn't the INDY weigh a bit more? I know corsa now makes a Ti that actually weighs less than the Z06 Ti. The wieght issue will not effect the dyno#'s but may effect ET. So the 7hp increase might get canceled out by the extra weight in actual driving condidtions.

I just purchased a 2002 Z06, the stock system sounds great. I dont see the point of giving up the fit and quality of the factory titanium exhaust for 5 hp, and that was on a modded car. A stock Z06 would probably show little or no gain.

Most systems really do see little or no gain when just exhaust is added. Its when coupled with other things, that they see better improvement. But, its all in preferance. Some people belive the Ti ZO6 exhaust is better, while some belive Poorla, oh i mean Borla and Corsa is better. Either way, cant go wrong, but if you want to put the $$$ towards a system, go aftermarket, imo.

But whats the difference in weight? Don't know about the corsa but the borla is pretty heavy. I was under the impression the ti was pretty light. If so this would further negate the slight advatage of aftermarket exhaust.

You will see a gain with the stinger- I think JMX said it right.

Eric- I have a used ZO6 flange back system if you would like it.
