Are you guys selling them at MSRP? Are these in stock, or on order?

I can wait until they sell at MSRP, which is $65k. Until then I won't be buying one.

$65 is the low priced one and goes up to $71 for a loaded one, not saying you might not find one at sticker but good luck. Would you buy one right now at sticker???

July 7th, 2007. That's when I will be taking delivery of mine. I will be shopping the price around, though. I've never paid at or above MSRP for any vehicle and never will. Never had to. There are always rebates and incentives (especially in light of GM's financial issues). I doubt GM will turn any qualified buyer away, and any dealer would be foolish to do so as well. These cars will be plentiful. Only the die-hards (who just MUST have it at any price) and the fools are shelling out money above MSRP for these cars right now. There were still dealers trying to charge a markup on the C5 Z06's when they were going, on average, for between $42K and $47K after all of the rebates (loyalty discounts, etc.).

There is the 2lz, navigation and polished rims, and that's it from what I found on KBB. Basically 3 options. Invoice is still around $62 to the dealer without polished rims. And I wouldn't care if I got any of the options. That's just another way to get a big markup!
I would like a base model with no options, Red with black/red interior. And there is no charge for those color options.

I agree on the whole mark up game. If someone wants one now they have to pay, but im sure eventually you could get one discounted. How many will be out there, who knows? thats a chance the buyer has to take. But either way good luck, if i can help at all let me know I am at Rinke Chevrolet in Centerline Mi. @ 586-754-7000 Ext 258
THANKS, MIKE

No, they don't. There are stories all over the web of purchases at or below MSRP, including one in this very site in the Texas section.

Not all dealerships are "greedy".

Well i suggest that if you can buy one at list or less i would jump on it. They are only making so many 06s and when they are gone they are gone. We are selling ours for 5k over list for now and when the time comes that we cant get rid of them I would guess the dealer would sell them for list. For now we have none on are showroom floor and only 2 not accounted for, for this year. I doubt we will be stuck with any. If your looking for one good luck and if your not and just stating what you heard go buy one now and see what you pay. Let me know. THANKS

Yep, but he's already made it clear that he's looking out for his dealership and not the customer. So be it. He won't get business by posting in this forum, that's for sure.

Good luck elsewhere, NO5.0.
