What tyoe of replacement battery in my 2002 Z06 Well i finally tried to start my Z06 today and the battery was completly DEAD.
Its the origional battery and i want to replace it due to its age, but my question is, do i stick with the OEM replacemt or go with an optima and if i do which type should it be??

Optima Red top here but get away from the stock battery before it starts to leak and you will have a hell of a problem. I swaped out my stock battery the same day I bought mine.
