That just about sums it up. It's a good price, much better than a lot of places, but you can find slightly better deals, they're out there if you're patient and look diligently. Good luck with the decision. BTW, if you've never driven a Z, get ready, it's quite phenomenal, and will leave an ear to ear smile.

A local guy in Addison had a car like that, wanted $32,700.

I think $32,500 - $34,000 is market.

Last year I picked up my 01 Z06 with 8k miles on it. I paid $29k for it. Check out the Corvette forum. Lots of nice cars some stock and some already modded. It's where I found mine. Had to fly to Virginia to get it though. It was worth it as the car was almost perfect.

$28K is a no brainer, that's like $5K below what a dealer would want for it.

im debating on whether i want to get the zo6 and keep it fairly stock for a while or go with a 99 frc and mod the hell out of it...theres something about the facial expression of a zo6 driver getting walked by a non-z06 corvette.

Z06 owners aren't like that unless they have no clue what's going on. It's not like C5 Z06's are making 500 to the wheels or anything...people realize that a regular C5 isn't that far away from being good competition.

I have a 13K mile 03 Z06. Lotsa tasteful mods. I would stay away from 01s unless it's a speedway white one.
