GM stock 3.42 with a hardened output shaft and a DTE brace...

I should've aired down the tires some more in efforts to short the car better, but it was so humid and the dew point had been passed causing moisture buildup all over the cars/track...

Hence the +2000 DA!

Glad to hear she's holding together for ya. So the c5 Z rearend is holding and the c6 Z's are breaking. Must be fun beating them to the end of the track.

I'll take a few passes on friday. My buddy who is an awesome driver will bring his c6Z. He has already run 11.2x bone stock. We have to reprent the c5's because those c6's are fast.

It all about power under the curve. Peak power is great but doesn't alwys win races. I race tons of car with more "peak" power. Nine times out of ten, they are all playing catch up.

You are correct, that's why more cubic inches seems to be the route to go these days, more power down low where you need it most. There is no replacement for displacement.
