What modifications can be done without voiding the warranty? There has been a lot of posts regarding the great power increases with CAI, headers, and tune. Will these mods kill the warranty?

Toally dependant on the stealership you bring it to. Some are very **** about mods and some let a lot of stuff slide.

Find a friendly dealer.
As it's been said before, some won't touch if it you put so much as wheels on it, other's could care less that it could be a supercharged straight pipe monster from hell.

Every dealer is different. One almost voided my buddies ws6 since we put on the shorty headers. They didn't seem to care about the borla catback though. I talked to one guy that has a 06 Z06 and the dealer threatened to void his warranty if he didn't get rid of the CAI on his car, that is all he had on it. Just like OKcruising said, find a friendly dealer.

A few dealerships I've been to actually mod the cars before selling them, mostly with Corsa cat backs, so I'd say that won't void the warranty. Like what was stated before, it's all dealership dependant. Some will void it if you swap out floor mats (j/k). With cais, I've heard of some dealerships not honoring warranty if water gets ingested and kills the mass air and gets into intake. Almost all frown upon headers due to the inspection/federal law thingy.

Get in good with the service people, my dealership has seen my last 3 cam'd cars/trucks and they never say anything but, "cool"..... You can buy a Magnacharger at my Dealership and they will warrenty it....Like everyone else said, find a cool dealership!
