First off its all in the tune, and better for a daily driver has a lot to do with the individual and again the tune. Those specs look like G5X3 version I, not II. Version II is more duration, and more lift and a tighter LSA.

For a daily driver I hate to go against LG's g5x3 version II, but I think I'd pick the other cam due to lower lift numbers and less duration would be a lot less harsh to the old dual valve springs. Now if you don't mind a little extra maintainenc by all means the g5x3 version II is the cam to get. Just got check those valve springs for proper seat pressure a little more often.

I like the Comp Cam... but on a 112+4. Smooth it out a bit.

I like the asymetrical lobes on Lunati Cams... they kick the valves open hard, but set them down easily. Seeing a Lunati cam in action with a degree wheel is pretty cool.

I think these cams are fairly close, but I think we can all agree the G5X3 VII will produce more power at the cost of a little driveability.

you can do the same duration of the X3 on a renegage lobe and only be at 580 lift. i am running a 232/236 580 580 112+4. it peaks around 6400 and carries flat a little shy of 7k.

I thought you had a real torque monster there until I realized the axis were not aligned. Nice power though.
