Default 6 Speed 60ft Record?? 1.30 9.95@137.69

I backed my 9 second runs at Englishtown this saturday at our QTP GM EFI Race #4.
Its still a six speed. I like rowing gears. Here is the breakdown of the run.

I pulled a 1.30 60ft. Is that a record?

60ft 1.30
330 4.02
1/8 6.32
1/8mph 107.85
1000 8.31
1/4 9.95
1/4 mph 137.69

Breakdown of the car:

1999 Camaro SS
364 LS1
Off Set Crank 3.8 Stroke
450 gram Rods
ET 225 Heads
236/248 Cam
QTP 1 3/4 HVMC Headers!!!!!
QTP Dual Cutout Y Pipe(valves closed)
QTP Prototype Side Exit Exhaust
QTP Quick Cam Cover
ASP 10% Pulley
Nitro Daves Black Widow Direct Port 200hp Shot
Moser 4.11 12 Bolt
28" C07 Hoosier Drags
QA1 Shocks/ Springs Set at 2 front 8 rear
Spohn PHR, LCA, TA, Drag Sway Bar, K Member, A Arms
LMR Built 6 Speed
Fidanza Alum Flywheel
Spec 3+ Clutch
Hurst Pistol Grap Shifter

Hope i didnt forget anything.
Also some notes on my shifting. I am not the fastest rowing the gears. Its a on going joke about that. I also lift when i shift. I do not powershift.

Here are some pics enjoy!

Check out this sticky. Looks like you missed it by a hundreth or so.
sixspeed inc has gone 1.29 even though their record pass they did a 1.31

https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-transmission/809101-fastest-six-speed-list.html

I'de get back the **** out there ASAP and try to knock a couple hundreths off. I'm sure you'll be able to do it.

Awesome 60' for a 6 speed car.
Are you leaving on the bottle and what is your race weight?
How is the spec 3+ and alum flywheel working for you?
By your 60's it looks to be good.
You may have 1.2? 60' in it yet.

That's what the **** I'm talkin about. Single digit six speeds with no face plating or anything, just a good old clutch and shifter (and a Spec 3+ none the less). I respect that so much more than seeing an auto go single digits, even if the auto is much quicker. I'd rather be going a full second or more slower banging gears than driving an auto; it's just so much more fun and challenging.

Congratulations. You deserve it.

Is the transmission a stock Fbody gearing?

If i remeber they are arrow rods with honda rod journals.

Only pics of the exhaust if what you see in front of the rear pass tire.

I leave on the bottle 200 shot. Race weight around 3350-3400

I think the spec 3+ is on its way out. Last pass my mph was down 7mph. Had it in the car for 2 years. WHich i would think 100 passes or so.

Gonna put a Cartek clutch in next. The Fidanza Alum Flywheel is a must. Made my 60fts more consitant than ever before. Have to come up a little higher on the launch thats all.

Tranny is stock gearing.

Nice! Do you just drop it? What RPM do you leave from? Any stutter box or anything?

Thanks

4500-6000 rpm depending on track conditions. Drop it and hold on.

It was a pleasure watching that launch Barry. It's been a LONG time coming but you've finally got that car leaving hard. Glad you've learned to stay in it this time. I wasn't looking forward to changing another oil pan on your car. Hehe!

Thumbs up

If someone tried to tell Barry back in 2000/2001 that he'd someday be cutting 1.30 sixty foots and shifting himself to the 9s in that car he would have called the authorities on them!

Good job bro.
