new PB with my dad's car
We had his car out this past Saturday as well.
01 Z/28
weight reduction :
front sway bar
Welds w/ 195 radials up front and 275/60 radials out back
stock short
our SI5 cam
APE 6.0 heads...got these cheap awhile ago from Z8's ( thanks )
Hooker LT's, ORY , cutout and SLP Dual Dual
SLP lid, K&N and stock MAF
Fast 90 / 90 NW TB ( minor clean up on intake )
FLT Level 3 w/ Yank SS4000
Strange 12 bolt w/ spool and 3.42
TR7 plugs
20 degree's total timing...extra safe
NA
11.31 @ 119 1.53 60ft
NX 150 shot..window switch @ 4100
10.40 @ 129 1.46 60ft
The car still has some left in it as you can see by the 60, but we were slowly working into things by lowering the window switch, but just ran out of time for the day.
may take it back out with my car this Sunday and try to spray it sooner
pic of car : this is on motor, but looks the same on spray. The car leaves so smooth and barely pulls the front tires

could stretch the stock injectors, but I prefer to not have high duty cycles
The car is working better with less spray since we can hook it better. We have been 131.9 mph on the 175 shot, but always had an issue hooking the car. I am going to work more on the 60 with the 150 and leave it nice and safe.
20 degrees of timing
mainly 110 with a couple gallons of 93
12.0 A/F
we are good

Congrats again Larry, looks like you had both cars running great. Any plans on going to a bigger tire and a 175 shot or do you still have some more room to dial in the suspension?
