Default H/C LS2 lifting stock 17s

This weekend was Pinks All Out at US131 in Martin Michigan, I had a great time and what a badass event I had to have been one of the only cars that drove there 3 hours with no trailer or anything, we just loaded my tires in the back and some tools and left. This is the first time I had the car out this year with the new motor and I was very happy with the results.

The car weighs 3700lbs with me in it and a 1/4 tank so its not a lightweight but it does pretty well for a daily driver. The second run is my new PB and on the 3rd run I cut my new best 60' with a 1.53.

LS2 shortblock with arp rod bolts
ETP 5.3 Heads
Patrick G custom grind
Pacesetter headers
custom ORY with flowmaster merge
Stock catback
LS6 intake
UMI tunnel mount TA, SFC, and PHB
255 MT drag radials

Thanks guys I am really considering picking up a set of chrome 16s for that sleeper look and just may do that soon. I did have a great time and the car is just unbelievably streetable and damn fast too, can't wait until I hit it with a 150 shot.

I think switching the gear to a 3.73 along with a ported FAST 92mm intake might do it for you. A different converter may help too, something like a PT4000 or PT4400. Similar stall speed, but the PT series really makes a BIG difference!

He said he plans on spraying the car so a PT series converter is really out of the question.

Yeah I cannot go any bigger on the converter for sure, but the car still has a lot of room for improvement, I think a built rear and some 3.73s will get it really close in good weather. If that doesn't get me there some tubular a-arms and an underdrive pulley should be enough.

Looks good! I was at pinks in Martin as well. Running my black 99 T/A. Had Just married written in the back windshield. Set a new best too... 10.53 @133. Still on the stock bottom end with a 6 speed.

I saw your car but never caught a pass, those are amazing times for sure and that sounds exactly like my plans for my car, I have a TNT kit sitting in the garage waiting for install. I feel like if I install it before I hit 10s on motor though that I may give up on that goal so I'm gonna try and hold out.
