LT1 goes 10's NA on the 17in street trim. 1.46 sixty
I posted this over in the LT1 section figured I would share with everyone.
I went to the track today hoping to see a ten second motor pass but I wasn't real confident since I sold my track tires last week MT 275/60/15's and was going to have to do it on the street trim 315/35/17's. Well the track was kinda cold when we first got there result first pass 12.100 @121mph 2.181 sixty and after a few more aborted runs I thought it was never going to happen. Then about an hour later a few more cars down the track and the sun shining bright the car started working here are the results. I have to thank Larry from Speed Inc he has got the car really working.

The tires are Hoosiers and I stalled it up only to 1,100 any more or just flashing would spin the tires. It was a cool day though low 50's so I think would hold better on a warmer day.

Congrats man thats bad ***.....You have a drag bar right? How do you like it?... I'm on the fence about getting a drag bar or 1inch sway bar. Did your 60ft drop with it? Sorry for all the questions....My best 60ft so far has been 1.49 on 275/40/17s on stock rear suspension: stock lca's, shocks, torque arm and sway bar.

That's awsome Jeff, congrats!!! Did you happen to get any vids of the new PB? Was adding the drag bar the only change from your last outing? I would also like to know if you 60' times improved with the drag bar?

Yes I went with the UMI 3in drag/sway bar and I love it ! you can see in the pic that the car leaves perfectly straight now. I can't really say that the sixty dropped because I usually run on 28 in drag radials 275/60/15's and was cutting 1.46 on those tires hope this helps. BTW 1.49 on your stock stuff is great.

Thanks again Butch.
I don't have a spool I wish I did. I'm sure you will be happy with yours when you get it. What kind of shocks you running ? Did you loosen the converter to ?

Alan you are there with your changes for sure ! the only thing I don't agree with is those 325's, ya they look cool but you don't need a tire that big it's just going to hurt your cause with the extra weight especially in the drive line. I know they are only 4lbs a tire more but not a place I want to ad weight. You can do it on the 275's no problem good luck I will looking for your 10sec thread come spring.
