+1 on not taking bunch of weight out tho.
The DA on the 7.40 pass was +2500.. I will be running in around 700-1000 next time I go. This will be good for almost 2/10s. It was 60 something degrees on that pass, it will be around 45-55 next time.
Skinnies on the front.. rotational mass means a lot, that will net me 1/10 or hopefully just a TAD more.
Letting the car actually cool before/in between passes instead of 20 minutes in between.
Dyno tune (picked up 12 RWHP and RWTQ)
That should be enough to get me there.

I am VERY good at guessing what my cars run. I am always down to the 1/10 and the mph except for the .xx... I will be VERY suprised if it doesn't hit a 7.2.. 7.1 will be expected but hoping for a 7.0.

Hell yea man! The GF totaled her car about two weeks ago so we are still trying to bounce back from that. As soon as I get a set of skinnies I'm good to go.

Sadly, I always have to bring my jack/stands because I have to switch my tires. You saw that!

Hopefully I won't need to. Hoping to get some with income tax!

With the mods in your sig you should be running the same kind of times. Have you ran it yet?

Thanks! And the LT1 car should run a 9 sec pass once it gets a good transmission and a good pass in.

I agree with lemons12, with those mods you should be a low 7 sec car.

99corvette Your car runs good. Have you ever tried it without the belt? Most cars that have all the accessories will pick up at least a couple of tenths. Try shallow staging as well. I have seen a little from that also. Not much but every bit counts.

Alright thanks! Ill try that also. When i put the underdrives on, i left the ac belt off since its winter time. I know its not much either. But it might help.

Yeah I am about tired of dealing with trans and converters. Are you going back with the same converter?

Ahh... Got ya! I don't know what kind of DA you will be running in. With traction though I would expect to see 7.2s out of it.. Anything better would be a plus. Anything slower you should know that you an get it there you just got to fix your problem area/s.

When you run find out what the DA is and post results up in here! If thats ok with 99corvette!
