8 sec street car w/ videos
We had a big track rental Sunday that we put together thru need2speed.com. 8 hours of unlimited runs with only 65 cars.
What an awesome day of racing!
Well, I had been getting myself mentally prepared to do what had to be done in order to run the 8 today. First pass I turned up the boost to about 18psi:

Turned up the boost to 18.5psi:

New personal best but not an 8. Exhaust hanger in the back broke and dragged the muffler right before the traps. I was sure a rod let go. Scared the **** out of me. Dragged it back to the pits and removed the v-band clamp that is under the drivers seat. So now I am dumped under the driver's seat.
Decided to try again at the same boost setting without that section of exhaust:

New personal best and a legit 8 sec pass. Decided to park her and considered not running again.........EVER.
3 hours later, I've got my nerve back and decided that I had to back it up. Put the sub box and amp back in the car and loaded up for one more pass at the same 19# boost setting.

New PB MPH and matched the ET to the 1000th.

QA1R's up front with 275 springs set all the way tight and stock brakes. No sway bar. BMR turbo kmember and stock upper and lower A arms.
Competition Engineering 3 ways in the rear and a stiff Eibach spring. Spohn Drag bar, Jegster Adj torque arm, Jegster adj panhard, Jegster adj lower control arms and an S60 rear. Mickey Thompson 325/50/15 dr's on a 15X10 wheel.
