Default Any New ET's with FAST102 Intakes on stock bottom end ?

hey guys,
i was wondering has anyone seen any track times or even track time improvements with a FAST 102 intake on a stock bottom end LS1 with h/c ? ported or unported ? 90mm tb or 92mm tb or 102mm tb ?

i know vengence did a h/c ls1 vette awhile back with a 102 intake and pick up nicely on the dyno. are there any track numbers out there anywhere ? just curious ,since FAST 92's are impossible to get nowadays.

please note that i'm not trying to start any debates or arguements ,just asking a question ,ok. thanks in advance .

Ok. I will take in consideration that is it now Friday and most people haven't been to the track yet . So ,with that being said.......I'm sure by Sunday someone out there can tell me if they have any success with the FAST 102 intake on their stock bottom end , head and cam LS1...right ???

Just remember guys, I'm not trying to be an *** . I just want to see track results before I spend my money. I'm sure all of you who are wondering the same feels the same way.

A FAST 102 setup is not a bang for your buck mod. Its more so a squezzing every last bit out of a setup. Most I have seen from a ported setup is 20rwhp gain, so figure about 00.20 worth of a improvement for about $1200 give or take.

Yeah it's a pretty steep price for .20 tenths. I figured if you can get at last .25-.30 tenths on a h/c with that intake ,then I would have to kinda lean towards it. And I am trying to get every bit out of my set-up without stripping the car or even removing my a/c.

So would you think a 102/92 set-up would be the right way to go ?

Mac, FWIW, I picked up 10 rwhp going from an ls6 intake to a unported fast 90/90. I also switched from 3.42s to 4.10s at the same time so my numbers most likely would have been greater. From what I've seen, 3.42s to 4.10s shows up as a 10 rwhp loss. If this is true, the fast gave me 20 rw.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input ,Dave. 20rwhp is very impressive for 90/90 set-up. Hopefully , more folks will chime in that has seen an ET improvement switching from LS6 intake to a FAST 102 or even LS6 to 92/92 set-ups. So far my stock LS6 intake is holding up pretty good ,but I would consider getting the 102/92 set-up if someone can show me some ET's. Dyno numbers doesn't mean much to me ,man.

I dropped 2 tenths going from my ls1 intake on a LT/lid/catback car to a fast 90. only reason I'm running a fast is I got it with a nw 90 tb for 500 shipped.

Then I dropped another .26 tenths going to custom 3'' true duals, but I don't think I would of picked up that much if I didn't have the fast on there.

hope that helps! also mph picked up too, but I can't remember by how much

I gained around a .10 with my ported fast 102. It was not a direct comparison because i took out around 150 lbs to.

Thanks for the input NMass399 !! Sorry It took me a minute to get back to this question. I'm still looking for any ET post from any H/C guys on stock bottom end with any comparison from the LS6 Intake to a FAST 102 Intake??? I don't really care about dyno numbers. I want to see track results . Anybody ??

I"m thinking its going to be hard to find someone going from a 78 to a 102 without first going to a 90 or 92 first.

LOL... Yea, Joey. I really want to belive that the FAST 102 is really worth the money but it seems that this product isn't really selling well at all. Like I said before , I'm not trying to bash it ,I just want to see track comparisons before I spend my money. Case in point, every A4 guy bought a Yank or a Vigilante " AFTER" they seen track results from other guys and even vendors. It was also done with the FAST 92mm Intake when they first came out . Nowadays , it seem that people don't want to post anything anymore . A Vendor will post something ,but it will be a stroker motor they are talking about most of the time..LOL.. Oh well .

I've seen .2-.25 tenths gain going from LS6 Intake to a FAST 92/92 set-up on several cars in my area. So I know the FAST 92/92 works !!
