Times are not right
Just went to the track and am not too happy. I can not 60 ft for crap. My best one was 2.04. I have a cammed bolt on with 386 rwhp, bmr control arms, mwc tunnel mount ta, relocation brackets, nitto 555r, and t56 with McLeod clutch. I tried launching from 2200 (2.30 60' spun worse), 2800- 2.18 60', 3200- 2.04 60', 3500- 2.14 60'. I know that slicks will help and I am going to get some but is there something else that I can do (settings for angles etc.) All at 17 psi.

I just put a S60 in the car and set the pinion angle to -1.5 and all that I was expecting was a low 12. And it was at Dallas Raceway. I was breaking lose still in the 4th gear shift and one second gear shift was alittle scary. I plan on getting some ET Streets but still think that something is set wrong to spin that much.

I've watched 2 ls1 m6 fbodies with 1 7/8" headers, free flowing exhausts, lids, and ls6 intakes run in about the same DA. Untuned car ran 108mph and the tuned car ran 109mph.
But the OP's times and traps are dogshit slow for his mods. Something isn't right. Is it missing? Bad gas? Check engine light?

Not missing, no check engine lights, don't think the gas was bad. I know that I am wasting a lot of energy spinning my tires. I even spun in 4th. I am going to put the pinion at -2 and put the control arm on the lowest setting (was in the middle).

Yeah, that trap seems really low for a bolt on cammed car w/ gears. Even in really hot/humid air, I would think you would be at least 113-114. 109 seems more like a bolt on car but obviously a bolt on car wouldn't dyno 386 rwhp either. When my car was a bolt on car that's what it would trap in the heat without tune/gears.
