My Super Chevy Race Report Saurday we pulled into San Antonio about 8:45am. Unloaded the car went to make our 1st TT pass of the day. Remember now, we had a tranny issue for the past 2 races. Thanks to Tranz-King and Madman(JBZ race cars) for all ya'll help. The car went down the track no problems. When I got my time slip I looked at the et and was very disapponited with the et of 10.50 @ 125 with a 1.38 60 foot. This is the slowest I have run all year. Thanks to Jason and the Texas Speed crew we put back in some timing and the car picked up on the 2 pass. We ran a 10.47 @ 127 with a 1.36 60 foot. Now, this is still slow for my car and the data from the nationals. My weather station said I should have run a 10.39. To late now to make changes and off to 1st round action.
To make a long story short. I went on to win 8 rounds of racing. Man, it was great to win again. But wait. When I got back to my trailer the track was callling me back to the lane for some reason. I go back to the lanes and they tell me that Super Chevy combines both class(footbrake & Top Et) when they get down to 8 cars. We were down to 7 cars counting me. So in round 9 I had to run a dragster that dialed in at 7.94 to my 10.44. I went 10.4386 to his 7.9197. Bad thing was I went-.002 red light. He went .017 on the tree.
Sunday was short and sweet. I went out in the 2nd round. I lined up out of the groove on the starting line. When the car took off it made a hard right. When the wheels set back down I had to correct it back to the center of the track and I can't run the number at the big end. I did tree the other guy. My .022 to his .042 I ran 6 numbers off. he ran 3 numbers off. Oh well thiats bracket racin for ya.
This weekend we go back to San Antonio for the I10 series.

Excellent news that you went 8 rounds, congrats on that! 
I don't know if I like the idea of running both classes (bracket 1 and bracket 2?), I hope they don't pull the BS over here this weekend. Good luck on the next race Coach!

They(Super Chevy) told me that in the bonus race on Saturdays they combo bracket 1 & 2 when down to 8 or less cars. Good luck to ya'll this weekend.

Thanks buddy. Dragsters normally don't faze me. But in round 9, I know the guy can cut a light and run his number.

Thanks, but I don't know about mastering bracket racing. Saturday we were in the penthouse and Sunday we went to the outhouse.
