Yep. Cecil is a quick track. Enjoyed the few times I made it out there when I was living in Alexandria, VA for a year.
In fact, that's where I met CHRISPY, so it must be a great track.

The slip helps me understand this.
In my 11.31 pass, my 330'-1320' incremental was 6.317, while the 330' was 4.990.
In your 11.03 pass, your 330'-1320' incremental was 6.368, while the 330' was 4.663. Your superior leave and hook on the the 1-2 shift are the difference. After than we were generally even with me having a slight .05 pull on you.
If I had your 330' and my 330'-1320', my pass would have been 10.980, which is my near term goal on DRs. My 11.31 was on stock tires.
So the issues I am contenting with are (1) Knocking .33 off the first 330' (2) doing that by running DRs and finding an alternative launch technique that drives around the LS7 "torque management" algorithm" that's holding back a hard launch And then (3) getting some better hook on my 1-2 shift.
Don't mean to ramble on. But your slip helped me visualize a path.
Thanks for the assistance.

I am simply amazed at the car's performance and your ability as a driver. Definitely something to shoot for when I get my Z06. I have always been on the fence about modding it once I have it, but with my formula as my modded toy I'm leaning on keeping the Z stock, this gives me more reason too. Congrats on the runs and as many others have said, you have some amazing driving abilities.
I'll be out in VA next year when I get back to the states so maybe we'll get a chance to meet up someday.

I'd enjoy hooking up, shaking your hand and swapping stories.
Probably can arrange a few launches in the C6Z too.
Drop me a PM when you're back this way. Stay safe.
