I just dont see how anyone ca run that fast with a cam only + some bolt on's.. I did my work in my sig and managed to hit a 11.6 @ 116 with it hitting the rev limiter 2-3 times from 2nd to 3rd. Maybe a 11.4X or 11.5 if it shifted perfect..
A buddy's 402 stroker went 11.1 @ 122..

I wonder what I am doing wrong here....

Yup power to weight ration. His cam only car is covered by a Si car that weighs just 300 lbs less. And I think he still lacks the driver mod.

Its all in the suspension...i know plenty of guys in the tampa area going 11.4-11.2 cam only and runing 7.1s to 7.3s in the 1/8th im not to far off myself im going 7.5s and i have allot more in there i just need to get some mt dr and a lil more tweakin and i should see a 7.2 or 7.3 witch would be around 11.3 to 11.5 in the 1/4 right now it my 60' thats suffering im traping at 90 mph but im only seing 1.66 60's

Thanks bud my car was trapping 109 in hot weather... when the air cooled down last week i went 12.4 @ 112.3..... but i forgot... mph in the 1/4 mile means EVERYTHING..... the actual ET has nothing to do with anything.... the car isnt even tuned. just the intake ... why dont you take your petty bullshit somewhere else where someone gives a flying ****?

So you know how to powershift but even though you were dying to get on the SI list, you chose not to do it. Didn't realize the stock tranny was so fragile. Guess it's just fragile in the hands of someone who doesn't know what he's doing. I wonder what's gonna blow up first. the stock tranny or stock aluminum driveshaft? Amaizingly, even though you dump the clutch at 5000+, it's the tranny that took a dump and not the driveshaft that's been known to snap in stock cars.
