Whats/Where's PRP? Anyway, Its an LPE 383 short block (Callies, Oliver, JE) 11.2:1 compression, LPE/E.B. Porting LT1 casting heads with 2.00/1.56s, Joe Overton/Erson 226/234 cam, Ported LT1 intake, 58mm LPE/Accel TB, 30 lb injectors, Stock fuel pump, Kooks stepped 1 3/4-1 7/8 LTs...Nothing fancy, but it works real well with the Vig 3600 and 3.73s...Theres more in it with more suspension work, true duals, maybe a gear swap to 3.90s or 4.10s...I want to go 120 with this little cam...we'll see...

wow i was expecting a bigger cam than that....alot bigger! very impressive man! congrats on the combo

what exhaust you running or was that open pipe? sure sounded great!

sorry i should have been more specific. PRP = Pittsburgh Raceway Park. Out towards Blairsville off of Rt 22. track isnt really great as they dont prep all that well sometimes. but when they do its not bad

Currently its Kooks stepped LTs to a Kooks Y and Borla cat back run with no plate (wide open)..We are working on going to a 3" true dual X pipe set up with Edelbrock 304s...I think the Edelbrocks will quiet it down while keeping good flow...Getting tired of LOUD...

Congrats i like to see all LT1's on the tracks. by the way, did you know your cam is very small for your setup. i was owner for camaro LT1 with 383cid carbed and i had tow kind of cams, the first one from FMS 234/242 575"/595" 114 LSA and the other one is custom from cammotion and i like it very much than old one, the specs of the second one is 241/252 604"/609" 112 LSA.

I've seen much differents between both cams and i like the second one, i advice you for same my cam from cammotion because i gain extra HP also RPM.

My car runing 11.1@127 with 3.42 ratio and 28" slicks.

Thanks, yep I'm well aware that my cam is small...Thats the whole point...I run 11.30s at almost 120 only having to rev to 6300 to do so with a Vig 3600, (will break 120 soon), get 20 mpg on the highway, and can drive this thing anywhere...I've never been a big fan of big cams in LT1s with stock casting LT1 heads...I may go up a gear size to 3.90s or 4.10s to get me across the 1/4 at 6300, true duals may be a possibility, QA1s to replace my stock springs and shocks, but the internals are done for now...

Very well I'm still advice you on a bigger cam believe me, with my big cam and stock casting heads was no problems until with daily drive.

I have small video for my LT1 on the street on first cam also idle video, i can send them for you if you want, please let me know.

Good luck and keep us update.

Listening to the vid, it seems there is a slight pause after the shift to 3rd. Is this sound just something in the vid or have you seen something out of it. It didn't sound like a miss, just didn't start pulling immediately. Great times, get that thing in the 10's. How you getting 1.4x's out of DR?

wow thats pretty impressive to rev to 6300 with that cam. wouldnt think that cam would need to go above 5700-5800.

Yeah, I heard it too from two different cameras...I'm not sure what it was, because it didn't do it again...It wasn't the trans...it shifted great and then kinda "bogged" is the best way to describe it....I'm keeping a check on it though....Thanks!

Listening to it again and talking to my local shop, its probably the converter locking up...nothing to worry about...Anyway, I'm getting 1.5s out of the DRs..1.4s hopefully soon, just ordered 4.10s which should really pull the whole car together...
