Default Has anyone been in the 10s w/ TR224 N/A

I'm running 7.3s @ the 1/8mi track which suppose to equal to 11.3s ->11.5s. I know I need a TA and maybe skinnies up front, and true duals dumped to lose some weight that would help lower my times. Anything else I could do to make the 10s N/A or isn't even possible w/ a DD. Mods are in the sig. I would like to keep my current H/C setup.

My car isn't set up for drag racing but I went 119.77 mph with a tr224 cam.
I remember when a 224 cam was HUGE, heck I remember when the "hammer" cam was HUGE. hahaha

Is the times N/A. Thats awesome. I'm trying to max out my engine. Trying to keep my H/C setup. Any ideas to add more power other than any kind of power adder.

Dragaholic went 10.9 or 10.8 with the C2 cam, which I'm pretty sure was a 224/224 cam, but his raceweight was rediculously low, say less than 3100 lbs at the time and eventually down below 2900 lbs. I went 11.2 @ 120 with the C1 cam, 222/222 at 3300+ pounds raceweight. I'm sure with any set of ported heads I could have been in the 10's. Instead I just got a big cam and got there with stock heads.

I'm in the same boat as you were, Jim. I don't want to strip it and I have to have the a/c and driveability for the wife. I've already took out the rear seats, seatbelts, back panels, and the front swaybar. What other weight reduction have you done to get 3340?

Pierre part, huh? Last think I thought I'd see in this thread! We've got a camp at the end of 70. Turn right by the Spunky Monkey, etc. Never get to go there anymore, but nice place.

Cheers for that awesome pass trapping 123 with a "baby cam" and some mild stock heads.
