Just ran a new best in my 1991 LS1 RX7.. its a stock shortblock with unmilled AFR's and a cheatr cam. Mid length headers, LS6 Intake, etc.. I just put in a new TCI 3700 stall (custom built).
Ran at Sacramento Raceway.. the air was really nice.
Still having issues getting the 4L60E to shift (bone stock trans right now).
First pass I did an 1/8th only and it hit the limiter in both gears but still ran a 6.8 @ 100 w/ a 1.47 60ft!!!
Did a few more 1/8th passes (no roll bar) then did a full 1/4 pass and it ran a
10.78 @ 127.2 w/ a 1.51 60ft
I still have some issues to work on but I was very happy especially making the 160 mile drive to the track and driving home.. even hitting a rainstorm on the way back. I think I am going to dyno the car this week and see what kind of power it's putting down. My friend took videos but I don't have them yet.

Yeah I am hitting the limiter.. I tag the 1-2 on the 10.7 run against my friend and the 1-2 and 2-3 on the other ones. If I pedal it just right it wont hit on the 2-3 and usually it didn't tag the 1-2. I either have a transmission or tuning issue, and I've tried everything with the tuning. I might try a different transmission I have. I'm going back soon to try to get the shifting sorted out. The problem is it's impossible to test on the street because it will just spin the tires any WOT in first or second gear.
It's an IRS car, stock mazda differential.. 4.10 gears.

Fantastic ETs considering your trans shifting is leaving power on the table. Bet you clean up on the street with that. Congrats!

Thanks ! I really need to sort out the transmission issues soon.
Yeah, I think there is a better time left in it too with locking the converter to keep it in 3rd. I am getting excessive converter or transmission slippage right now so I have a lot of work to do.![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
I took it to my friends dyno (dynojet) for fun yesterday and it made 390 rwhp unloacked and 409 locked (SAE).. what I was impressed with was it kept making power all the way to redline (6800). Kind of exactly what I wanted in my cam.. I don't care about low end power and just wanted good power from 4000-6800 and have it pull all the way to redline.

I think I need to do some of the small items to squeek more power out of the car now (exhaust, mill heads, double check pushrod length, different head gasket, better intake manifold, etc..).. and get the air/fuel leaned out a little and work with the timing. Right now I have 26 degrees total and mid 12's AFR.
