Default 93.03mph 1/8 trap, what should it trap in the 1/4?

I ran the time in my sig a few weeks ago and since then, I've seen some other peoples times that are similar to mine. It seems to me that my 1/4 trap speed should be a little higher considering my 1/8 trap speed of 93 MPH. What do you think?

60'- 1.757
1/8 ET- 7.534
1/8 MPH- 93.03
1/4 ET- 11.768
1/4 MPH- 115.97

The 3.23 are killin you.Think of it this way you are at the top of 2nd gear or your 2-3 shift spike at that mph in the 1/8.Then at 115 no where near peak hp.in 3rd.Change your rear gears then get back to us 4.10 would probably be optimal for et.&mph.

Thats what I was thinking. I was gonna go to 3.73's at one point but that would be the limit. I want to spray a 150-200 shot in the future and need enough gear to finish the 1/4.

Would 3.73's be too much gear for that much spray? I just need enough gear to get me to low 130's in MPH.

I went 118.6 with a 93 MPH 1/8th MPH. I ran out of gear about 100 feet before the traps though. Cam only 6-speed car.

Yeah, 6 speeds always trap a couple more mph in the last 1/8. I think I might need more converter or gear to trap like that.

But most importantly, could you still see yourself peeing in her butt in 40 years? Thats hilarious!

Hey great runs 01ramair. Just what I needed. Seeing your slips makes my times seem reasonable. Was your car running optimally during those runs?

BTW, whats your launch technique?

I think the 1-2 MPH you guys have on me is due to your lower gears and higher stalls with more shift extension.

Quick Reply: 93.03mph 1/8 trap, what should it trap in the 1/4?
