I still remember when SMKUR50 was the first to run 11's with stock internals. Several LS1.com members were trying very hard to do that. I believe Mark went 11.89. It was a big deal to run 11's with bolt ons even a few years ago. I thought it was a big deal to run 10's cam-only when I did it a couple years ago. Heck, my cam-only time isn't even as good as your stock internal time. Kind of embarrasing.
Way to go Dave, making us all look slow.

I appreciate the good comments, and for me, I don't want a tin-can appearance either perception or reality for some extra weight savings. However, that is me. We all spend our time and our money on our cars for what we want personally.
PEWTERZ28, give it a year or two, with better cylinder heads, intakes, etc. coming available from GM and the aftermarket, we'll be looking back and saying, for example, H/C cars used to "only" run high-9's and low/mid-10's! Take care. Dave

I've seen this car run several times at Redline with the other motor in it and was impressed by the times it was running n/a. I did snoop for a minute looking for the hidden n2o but couldnt find anything obviously. 6.70's with a SI LS1 is even more impressive to me. Congrats on the record.
It takes a cam and a 200 shot for me to go as fast as you. Maybe I need to start adjusting all of these suspension pieces, I'm too scared that I'll go in the wrong direction though.

Thanks to all. Yeah, my buddy (GUMP / GIZMO) races Stock Eliminator and has held many National Records with LT1 / LT4 cars. He is pushing me to do the same. Take care. Dave
PS: Did you notice Mahle Pistons grabbed my picture (as seen below) and photo-chopped it for its latest ad in GM HIGH TECH PERFORMANCE!

Thanks! Just still trying to decide what I'm going to do for my next hot rod motor for the car...crank was saved, heads were, too...very fortunate. Now that the heat is back, I'm in no hurry. Take care. Dave

My cam is the original stock one. What people are talking about is for NHRA & IHRA Stock Eliminator, you have to use a stock lift cam, but, you are allowed any lobe profile (LSA / duration). They are NOT very friendly due to the very aggressive ramps and profiles. The stock lift rule applies to all makes and models racing in Stock Eliminator. Grab a NHRA rule book and read the pages and pages of rules for the cars in there. Take care. Dave
