1.28 60ft on 275/60s
First round we have #1 qualifier (roy spencer)
I go a .068 to his .149 reaction time
60fts were 1.28 to his 1.33
1/8 mile was 5.62@121 to his 5.52@126
The end result was that I lost by .016
We now have the fastest 60ft in the class though. With the lowest mph in the class too. LOL this is a street car motor.

Car won't make it down the 1/4. It is tapped out right near the 1/8 mile. Shift light is on before I go through the traps. 410 gears on a 28in tire. 7200rpms is max we go. It is already falling off at that point. It has 350 pills in a Speedtec plate, set with high pressure running with one pump Weldon 2345 that runs everything.
Makes around 800rwhp. Most of the guys racing in this class have around 900 to the tires but who is counting. There mph is always atleast 4-6 more then us. Which only means I have to get the hole shot to win. Gone some .02s lights this year, even went a -.002 light. I have not gotten one single .1xxx all year long. KNOCK ON WOOD.
Brian, thx for all your advise. We have tried so many different things and it feels like we go backwards alot. LOL We put it on kill since we were racing the #1 qualifier and the last time we did this I rode a 300ft wheelie and then all 4 tires came off the ground which turned me right and then I had to let out and hit the wall. Everything staying the same as that night except I cranked the front shocks allmost all the way tight. Did a nice little 8in wheelie for 60ft and it felt really nice. I had him for ever and then at the very end he came around with 5 more mph.

Can you tell us what kind of suspension parts and setting you use. I am about ready to do my suspension from stock to an 8 sec car and would really like to know what works best with a drag radial. Thanks

Is this car blue?
#16
Yes it is blue with silver stripes.
As far as the suspension goes. It has wolfe through the floor subframes, wolfe cage, wolfe LCAs, Wolfe PHB, Wolfe/Madman/custom torque arm, Custom relocation brackets, All tubuler frontend by BMR. This car is slammed on the ground so we had to cut the rear firewall out and raise it up for the rearend/TA to not hit. Afco double adjustable front shocks and Strange single adjustable rear shocks

Secret stuff there. But I can tell you that it doesn't matter what it is you can make it hook up. Ours is no different then any other F-body with an iron motor up front. It is way heavy on the front. Iron 6.0 with carb style cast intake. Normal size radiator with 3 gallon cell in front nose of the car. I built some bumper supports out of chromoly tubing.
