Thumbs up 8.70@155 this weekend, but no clean pass

had some issues but got a couple passes.
saturdayi had 2 tenthds delay on the spray, i launched, when the spray hit i spun got in and out, and short shifted it to a 8.78 @ 154.xx got down the end and had a leak in the head gasket.
took it home, threw a new/used head gasket in it, went back sunday first run.
transbrake would not hold (not sure why) so i jumpped to a red light, let out totally then had time to say to myself, screw it, im running anyway and jump back in it got about 800 feet and the car stopped pulling, af was way fat, so i killed it about 1,000 foot to run an 8.70 @ 155, car was working good.

2nd pass tras brake didnt work again so i jumpped the light, this time they didnt even set it so i got no read out but the car pulled good, then about 1,000 foot. boom, right where i saw a little tweek in the used gasket, yup, it blew it out

im still on 4 bolt heads, but my tune up looks real good and with new gaskets all re tq'ed etc i think the car should run pretty strong.

these gaskets have an *** pile of 9.0-9.3 runs on them and last time out i think i kicked the one from saturday, and saturday finished her off.

good stuff tho, im going to order new ones today and get back out asap

The price of being a big dog is never cheap. Good luck & hope the stuff gets in asap, so you can get back out.
