Default Wolfe Roll Cage Questions

Did anyone ever have any issues installing the Wolfe Racecraft roll cage kit for the Trans Am? I Am installing one now and the passenger door bar is hitting the door panel where that cup holder is. Also I cant seem to figure out why I cant get the bars even from side to side. Im using the scratch marks they supply but when I do nothing fits perfect. Should I just fit it to my desired fit or should I use what they suggest? The dash bar and window bar is giving me the most issues, when everything else gets pretty much even they dont fit right!!!??? I dont know whats going on but the way im feeling is ( 10-point) I just need to rest working 10hours straight on the car so I think a break will help. Please chime in. Thanks and have a happy new year!!

Just installed the Wolf 10pt, and ran into the exact same issues you had, upon examination the bars that go from the main hoop to the front floor (top bars) where off in lenght, and the bends where off from side to side, my chassis guy had to trim those and did some refitting on them, and the bar that runs along the top of the windshield, and the dash bar, the notching of the bars was very nice, the scrib marks were off a bit, it is not 100% done yet waiting on the drivers door swing out kit from Chris Alston, if you need some pics as of were the progress is so far PM me and I will post them.

The 6pt bolt ins fit like a glove with no issues, I replaced a 6pt bolt in with the 10pt weld in. The 10pt is a very nice cage though after its all in.

These were taken a week ago, have since installed the rocker bars, I am waiting on the door swing out kit from Alston Chassis, the window net kit needs put in, Kirkey seat brackets and seat back braces, it is not 100% welded here, just tacked. I will have it home hopefully next Wed, and will post some photos finished for you.

Looks real good! are you adding the rocker bars? I will get you some shots of how they did mine, they actually intergrated them through the seat cross braces, lowers the bars a bit and cleans it up. I will stop by the shop Mon. night a get you a coulple photos. Funny though the cars look the same inside at this point, same shifter even...lol What seats are you going to use?

Who said that? I asked if you had any pictures of the door bars and you never responded?

Dam, the 99 TA looks killer.

I put a wolf 6pt in and of course it fits good in my camaro. But sounds like they did or do not make provisions for the cup holder in the TA. Did you ask them about it?
And These cages are not always a perfect fit like puzzles. Some times they require a little fitting here and there. and a little cutting.
