Show me pics of your VFN cowl hood..
Trying to decide which hood to order...id really like to see some pics of the big sunoco with extended cowl on a white z28....lets see some pics and what is your guys thoughts??

what camaro396 said...dzus fasteners. I got the racecraft rails as well, and they are VERY nice pieces!
I added 2 more fasteners along the windshield by the cowl, and going to add 2 more on the tail portion of the hood by the mirrors. 1 due to the shape not being quite right, and 2 so they don't flap against the car at high speeds (hood is extremely thin!)

I havn't tried mine yet. But I see one guy trimmed the bracket to make the lip of the hood fit. Thats probably what I'll do, because the hood is already pretty flimsy, I can't imagine it after that lip is trimmed off.

Shouldn't be too hard to trim it straight. But then again I'm a master with a cut off wheel, angle grinder, and dremel!
We'll see, perhaps I'll just trim the lip of the hood. I'm not sure yet.
