heres some pics of the new stuff shockwave took for me the other night. thanks

at the track last night

On the DR it was pretty consitent. Two 11.44, 11.41, 11.40 this was the best.

it yanked the wheels a little bit I thought it was spinning thu the gear, a bit after the shifts. Figuer it was just normal for a M6 car on a DR? But it was probally the clutch slipping, now watching the vids. And on the drag wheels the clutch was slipping bad.
Here is the best ET (full pass). That 60' kinda sucks I was hoping for alot better but the car wasn't going anywere with the clutch slipping.

Vid of the night,
http://www.vimeo.com/4674716

there all on stock wheels and M&Hs. But the last 2 are on drag wheels. 1st run broght it to 4500 like the DRs, but when WOT right before dumping it The limiter tagged witch is like 7K? I don't know what mike set it at? But was thinking the car should 60 a lot better then 1.60 it was going 1.56 1.57 (siq pic) last year with the front end alot heavier. The last run was worst. The car is fine on the street, I lugged it in 5th and it didnt slip. Or act up at all?

Good runs Johnny My opinion is that your clutch is slipping a bit on launch.

Yeah, if you want to change the title of this thread, you'll have to ask the moderator of this section to do it.

I didnt even notice driving the car really, it was that bad as in the vid. What clutch should I got with? Its was a powergrip HD, you have that carteck. I can test it for you with the rev limiter

Looks good man! That thing should fly when you get the new clutch.

The Cartek clutch has worked well for alot of people....that is probably the only single disc I would use in your application. Might be time for a dual disc

i say the cartek or the Textralia OZ700 Series Clutch(Steel Billet) I have this clutch and love it. And on your last three passes your clutch was sliping till the end of 2nd. with out the sliping you would of had a 10.xx pass. your Mph was killer i mph the same last time out with my 3.89 gear i have the 4.56 in hand i will be putting it in soon and hitting the track.

I think it was thu 3rd on most of them really. After the 2-3 the rpms were still up there, unlike normal holding. Ya, thanks that is pretty good, still having a untouched LS6 intake, MAF, ported stock TB. Was hoping for a 124 maybe 125 on a good air night. I thinking going to more gear would help alot on that, I still have alot of power left to use in the top of 4th. I think 1K rpms still just tring to look on one pass when the win light comes on. And that would be beter for useing 6th under 80mph on the 28' M&N too.

I remeber Alex (with the black WS6 carteck, 5x h/c runs 10.3's) saying cartech wasn't making clutches anymore. I know there were just a local place to them building them. But there all stock housing, with just diffrent fiction material, and springs anyway. I might get another powergrip HD, it really did alot for I put it thew. It has 13K miles on it an still drives fine. I rember mike @ newera saying RAM will rebuild them for not alot too. And he has a customer in long island with a car running low 10's that races it alot. That buys a new disk about every year, has a spare and gets them rebuilt.

oh ok so they were 28" slicks...seems to fit pretty good on those prostars maybe you wont have to do that much cutting on the fenders then...

Im running a monster now and love it.... I think Alex is thinking about running one too when his cartek is done, they dont make clutches anymore. Who on long island is running a ram pg hd in a ten second car??? I dont even know of any fast 6 speed cars left on this Island Anymore... Almost everyone swapped to an auto.. I had one and it did just what yours did once I was trapping 120-121 a couple times...Last time on the monster I went 124.6 bogged the fiirst run went 11.13, then ran every pass after it never getting a clean pass because the rear was destroying itself... But it took some hot lapping fine, no hint of trouble...

thanks, ya the 11.4s and that 11.38 were on 275/16 M&H Drs (28") and 245/16 stock EVS100s on the front. My freind did this, it was the 1.669 60

Last 2 I changed to my gregweld fronts with DS2s and 15x10 prostars with the 28x10.5 stiffsidewalls.
they fit great, I rolled the fender but didnt have to right now or last year. I might lower the car still. And wasn't sure after I put some heads on, and a fast92/92, and other mods it might start stuffing the tire harder so wnated to be safe. got the LCA centerd, a pulled the rear bumper back a little, put a bolt in the rear pusht hole to hold it. No cutting the bumper. Had to bend back the metal lip under the cover, the normal stuff.

The street sweeper is 236-240 .630-.612 111LSA Great cam, really happy with it. Not sure the DA its wasn't some super great night or anything just a test and tune night. Its pretty light right now, I don't have the rollbar in yet. It was fit and tacked, all that should be ready to weld in for good but I worked every day sence last mon. and havnt had time. Just door panels, headliner, dash stuff, and front seats. No carpets, console, rear panels, T top holders speakers. All metal showing it sucks, I wnat to get it back in. The scale at NYI said it was 3050 street wheels, 2980 race wheels without me and 1/4 tank. Thats about right, I'm 185, the rollbar is 60, SFC are 22-25 (im gona add them) not sure the intior 50-75? Will probally be a 3250-3350 race weight this year.
