Yup another 910 disk, and 402 PP. The ram powergip HD clutch kit, The pedal is really easy on this one. I think its like stock, I'll have to check out a stock one to remember. But it was alot stiffer for sure.

My disk in the pic is .245 .250 The min service spec is .280 I didn't have any room left in the adjustable master that catch point was at the VERY top, only 1/4 inch of release, haha. The ram setup worked really well, I got all the life it was made for with there parts. I had 250-300... maybe more passes, and about 15,000 HARD street miles

Before I pulled this is the specs on it. The sheet in is the box still I dont have it right here But I rembed these, I'll fill in the reast later....
The trans face to TOB was 2.190 (ram slave, no spacer)
PP finger to bellhousing face avage was a 1.135 ( they looked great, no funny wear on finger tips to the TOB. They were all the same heights, and parelle)
But the diffrence was 1.055
Ram says you need .600-.700 diffrence on the new setup, for proper system funcion and life.
I had a diffrent steel billet ramflywheel I had turned it was .825 or 8.28 I think? From the crank face to the disk face, a little thinner then a stock flywheel. It was within .003 runout outside the PP bolts on the very outside, .0015 mid disk face witch was really good. The new disk was thicker. I htink it was .325 I'll check on that.
I had the same 2.190 spes for the TOB to trans face on the new(er) slave.
Its a little hard to get the PP fingers to bellhousing specs, untill you drive it a little ther very till they break in and wear off any hight spots. I'll get that spec. But the diffrencs was a .725 a little on their big size. But It was shifting fine with 1.055 and its been find now. Going into 1st fine, fully diss engaugeds everything is great, I put 40miles on it today and changed the caught point a little after it came up after a few miles no 1st test drive.

The rollbar is gona be welded in today, any last words on running the stock harness inside or outside the hoop uprights?

About 175miles on the clutch feels great, speedinc. carpet just came in. I havn't opened the box yet And my buddy nick doing the TIG mentioed the stock seatbelts might not come out with the hoop in. I tilted it back a little so its flush with the door opening. So I pulled them now. I'm gona have to order some camlock harnesses later today. I local that races at the glen said theres a brand the DOT stamth or somthing. There on FRAXXX.

The only motorsports company that has anything DOT is Schroth, at least as far as I know.

If you want 6 point lightweight camlocks I might recommend the ones that were put in Durkin's SRT-4.

that it, thanks SB
you have any links I want it black or a dark grey. hopfully not a flashy logo like the "impact" with the gay lightning bolts. what dose durkin have, ya if there anything lighter that would be nice.
I took some pics of the carpet spread out, it was boxed great and shipping was fast. I'll have them up after lunch.

had the panhardrod brace off to drop the gas tank 4.980 #'s with the 3 bolts, nut and the small heat sheild bracket for a 7mm bolt.

Kirkey 17" prostreet drag pn-41700 /no cover- 12.13 #'s

SLP 2OTL mufflar with tailpipes/tips, no over axle tube- 22.70#'s

2001 Z28 cloth seats
driver /power- 39.15
passanger /manual- 29.85

I might go through the pages, and find the parts I weighed and add them in a list in the 1st post. I have a good nitrous scale and noticed alot of things are not what everyone claims.

Orderd a set of racecraft kirkey seat brakets. Got more welded on the rollbar today, nick welded the rear bars to the hoop. Then I was going to paint the top welds while the bar was forword, I'm leaving the headliner in. And figuerd I'd see if you can get it out of the car. And the hoop w/ plates, and rear bars w/ plates can be removed from the car, witch is cool. Welding still came our really well for being upsidedown.

So I got most of the rustolem hammer black on tonight, have to see how it looks dry but its kinda hard to paint with a brush. A light coat all the "hammer" marks pop open, so you have to put it on a little thick and leave it. I think maybe a roller would be better? I also weighed it out of the car. The wolfe doorbars with the all 4 plates ate 17.77. I have a smaller, and thinner seat bar, and cut the rear bars down 1.75 so this isn't a normal wolfe kit. But it a lot lighter then the mild bolt in kit. But the rear rest "4point" with all the plates is 34.22. this....

So this 6point is 51.98 right now. Still have the top doorbar welds, seat back brakets, and harness tabs. But it a bunck less then the mild bolt in

I'm about to put the gas tank it, and thinking about pulling the Evap charcoal canister, and rear purge noid. Its about 7#s , but then I'll have that readness monitor uncomplete. And I'm only cool to have 2 and still pass NYS ODBII inspection. I can't remeber if my 02 moniters clear with the ARH LTs???? I'll have to make up my mind soon??

heres the on tank Evap crap

I'll organize this better later, done working on it tonight. Its easier to just take a pic of somthing then remeber what it weighed later. Got the seats in with the racecraft rails driver is great, passanger I'm gona look into it more and maybe change the braket so I can move the seta back a little, and lower it that what I have to work with.

I found a good spot to drill the holes in the kirkey seat, that might work for other guys? ****edit the 3 1/4 -12 3/8th holes I ended up changing. I'll update a better hole place ti use later***** Thouse holes mout the seat all the way up and tipped back a confortable amout. Not getto 3rd gen west coast style. But close to my normal 24/7 street postion, and still close for the track. Wrist brake just at the wheel, I'm 6,0 180 I can put my helmet on fine with the Ttops in, and have room. But Nick@ newera that did the welding said he'd like the seat a little lower for how it is with the hoop. He wants it under it more, good thing with these seats there high backs. I can't see my head hitting the hoop. So I might not need to pad it. The padding on my bolt on wolfe with the stock seats, blocked the rear view mirror. But the wolfe door bars fit fine I didnt know what seats I was gona run when I welded it in. I just had to bend the front lower bump in the seat a little so your not jamming the seat in and ripping the cover up. It was 17 and the bare seat was pressed on the doorbar. Bent in it to 16.5 and it has room the cover dosn't get pinched. I was happy with that. Seat are really nice I few guys set in them. Mike at New era was even talking on the phone for about 10mins on some calls didnt wnat to get out of the car.
And you can lower the set with the braket holes still (cover rasing you in the seat so test fit with the cover on). And move it back a lot, the bolts are lower in the seat so you're not going to feel them. I dilled this and got the driver seat mint, still working on the passanger for more room.

And sence I started listing other weight on stuff I took these. I can use this to organize this weight better later

Kirkey seat cover 2.455#'s (17inch, black cloth/tweed , each)

Racecrafter kirkey seat brackets 6.045#'s Bolt In style, 1 driver 1 passanger (pair)

RJS 5point harness, camlock 5.805#'s (each)

Kirkey 17" prostreet/drag with cover and racrcraft brakets 17.545 #'s (each)

Ok so quick looks My stock seats were.

The final kirkey sets are 17.545 so thats lighter per side
Driver- 21.605
Passanger-12.305

33.91#'s saving in the seats, And a LOT safer with the rollbar, and harnesses then using them with a stock seat.

And the harnesses are 1.76#'s lighter then that stock belts.

Put the interior back, fit the carpet one day. The drove like 80miles to buffalo NY for some street racing, that night. Seats feel great, was about a 1hr... 15min ther and back same night. Carpet fits great, I'm gona get a piece of darker grey orzites for the top of the gas tank, an sow it to the carpet with a seam. That light greay was all walmart had.

cutting the holes in the speed inc. carpet

some "finished" pics I took tonight

Fri with the new clutch made some passes at NYI. From the east coast section.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/eastern-m...7-nyi-fri.html
----------------------
I put a 2step on my car the day before, So was learning that. Sounds cool, shoots fireballs and **** I heard, I'd like to see it in some vids I don't notice it really? But on clutch in at the end of a pull one BIG bang before it goes in decell. Car shifts better keeping it on, like a wot box. I put the new clutch in, and it grips so good now almost. Bad news it just bogs the car now, haha This was on stock rims with little 275 Drs.

1st pass 4K launch 1.89 12.03@117 I shifter a few gears early, but really???... 117? WTF.
Went to 5K 1.73 bogging 11.69 @119, still wtf???
raised it to 6K 1.61 felt good might have pulled both wheels?? 11.46 @120.7 heard it still bogged?? its only a little 275 DR 6K dumps is nuts. it shouldn't be bogging? That clutch is working, tires too. I want my slipping one back, I don't have much motor left to launch harder.
6500 (don't even need a 2step really) spun 1.805- 11.53 121.47 No more race cars running just some street cars track was going away.
6200, spun 1.83- 11.59 121.2

I'll have to get back into doing fast slips, but 1.61 on a 275 DR, m6 41xwhp LS1 in pretty good. Gona try to get 10s next time on the drag wheels.
--------------------------

Vid, (another guy, jt37 should have some more runs I belive, hopfully at the line)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDflcQUZMdc

Oh cars 3360, me in it 1/4 tank. just like the "finished pics" with the stock wheels 24/7 mode.
