Default out of Thunder Shootout: Blew up rear end

well no one has to worry about me, blew up the rear end street racing for the first time in my life today. Clunks on right turns, brand new posi ... also saw one of my torque arm bolts is stripped. So too little money and too little time to get it ready for Nov 8th unless I take some days off from work and convince the wife to give me a few hundred dollars. LOL Funny how I make the money but can't spend it. haha

Disappointed because I spent a lot of time and effort to get the weight down for the race. ;(

Ditto that. These things are supposed to be bulletproof. I guess with the posi it's still possible though. Throw a locker in it.

Hey java-the-hut, don't you have another center section?
It don't take long to swap.

YOU street race? Who did you race, Suzies Beemer.

That sucks steve, Hope you can find the time and money to fix it. maybe you should drop a spool in the spare. Maybe a mini spool to get through the shoot out.

axtually I said posi but it is a Detroit locker 33-spline (?), with about 1,500 miles on it and no strip passes, just street miles. I think I will go ahead and get a spool for the track.

I was joking around ... I have the money, that isn't an issue I am just tired of breaking and fixing, I spent a lot of $$$ to lighten it up and for performance improvements and am tired of watching money fly away. Just frustrated.
