The rotella is great stuff. They were one of the few still putting zinc in the oil last year or so. I heard they changed their formula and now rotella is just like all the others...zincless. Any truth to that?

I have run 20-50 castrol regular dino oil sincve the 402 went together, and have never had any problems.
The motor will get freshened up and the next go around I will be using rotella 15-40, because it has a little better additive package, and I use the same oil in my diesel pickup so it's now a dual purpose oil for me. I'll probably end up just getting a 55 gal drum of it and call it a day.

Come to think about it. I have a few drums of 15w40 rotella for my diesel water trucks if diesel oil the same for gas motors? It its ok I don't have to worry about oil lol. We used to run the delo 15 40 in them but we noticed a whole lot of differance with the rotella.
