Yank TP4400 + stock gears + stock cam will run high 11's SI with all the right bolt-ons and some weight reduction.

get a cutout, and UD pulley (got mine used for 100 shipped), add some sort of ram air (either FTRA, SSRA, or Sux2BU style), gears are a waste of time and money on the 10 bolt, it only makes them weaker, 3.23 is plently with that converter...look at my times for proof...

also i shifting mine a 6200-6300 cant remember which...5900 is kind of low...good luck

Yea I am not putting any money towards the 10 bolt, learned my lesson on that before. Its not tuned yet either but I want to get a baseline of where I am at first.

On the way to get it tuned I got a nail in one of my ET streets, another good night of racing lost. Its patched but leaks slighly still. Im tempted to run street tires to see what kind of mph I am at.

Alright went to put street tires on and a wheel stud broke off. Managed to get that fixed in time to make it to the track. Ran better with street tires than I did with the vig 3200 and ET streets. Car would hit the limiter on the 2-3 shift. With tires and a tune im feeling pretty confident I'll be low 12s.

60 - 1.84
1/8- 8.10 @ 86.24
1/4- 12.64 @ 108.17

if you think an a4 is weak.... sorry to tell you but that little m6 is a weak little feller..

i had a buddy the other day tell me at the track no way in hell he would consider an a4... i told him i like going fast.. he kinda laughed and said his is fast.
his is a stone stock 02 ws6.. he was running low 9s.. girl friends close to stock car was running low 8s...

Like PSJ said, increase the shifts up to 61-6200, and lose some weight. Then practice and feel how the car wants to be launched. That will cut your 60' down. My car won't do anything stabbing it from anywhere near idle. I have to load up on it to the point it wants to push past the brakes.

Im still on stock valve springs, I might try 6000. I will try different lauch rpms once I get another Et street.

Weight wise, theres not to much more I am willing to loose that I can think of. Ac works so that is staying, have the front sway bar off, heat shields arent very much, dont want bumpers to sag so the support is staying for now.

TA1364, it doesn't take a whole lot to put one of these cars in the 11s. You really don't need to pull a ton of weight or even have all the bolt-ons. I'm still on completely stock internals and shifting mine at 6,100 with no signs of valve float on the dyno.

I'm running:
Whisper lid
Home ported TB
Stainless Works 1 3/4" longtubes
3" true duals w/x-pipe over the axle with Moroso Spiral Flows
Tracey Scott speed density tune
Edge 3,400 stall converter
4.10s in the stock 10-bolt
LCAs, brackets, BMR crossmember mounted torque arm, QA1s up front, and Wolfe single rear sway bar
Stock 16" wheels with ET Street radials out back
Race weight is 3,550 lbs

Best run:
60': 1.52
1/8 ET: 7.56
1/8 MPH: 89
1/4 ET: 11.93
1/4 MPH: 110.90

This time was BEFORE tuning and with the converter unlocked. I picked up 15-20 HP at the wheels across the board with tuning. I can't wait to see what it does with the tuning finished and some better weather. I may also be sending my converter back to Edge to get a restall since this one was configured more for street than strip.

You can find more details on my car at www.nkyfba.com. I'm in Northern Kentucky, not too far from you.

Good info to hear. I am running a moroso spiral flow too so I know thats not going to hold me back. Your 60 is awsome but you do have some suspension.

Ive hear all kinds of stories of Tracy Scott tunes vs Percision tunes.

Yeah, you'll hear all kinds of horror stories about Precision's tuning. Tracey is the only person I'll allow to touch any of my cars. He's been tuning my **** since I got tired of LS1 Edit several years ago and I couldn't be happier.

If you're wanting to get some tuning done, just take it to him first and save yourself the headache. I'll guarantee it will be more driveable and make more power than what Precision will do for you.

We'll see, seems like a lot of the street guys prefer Tracy Scott. Ive never met the dude though. When you went that 1190 what was the weather like?

Getting that 60 down another tenth or two would probably help more than anything.
