Thanks guys. If I can ever get a block, I can get a motor put together. I have the Wiseco pistons and Callies Magnum crank here. Still waiting on the Howards rods and LSX block.
Yeah the car will have a belt drive fuel pump. I couldn't find an electric pump I felt good about with alcohol. On the gear drive issues, I've heard issues with the bushings but nothing with the blowers. No more racing that the car will see in a year, I don't think it will be to big of a problem. I will just order a couple extra sets for when they need changing.
I changed names for the thread since I have to keep up with my post count for work. It's just easier to count work stuff using this name here since this isn't really a Texas Speed project.

Rear wheels are a 15 x 10 with a 4.5" BS from what I can remember. I'm going to pull the spacer off the wheels and mill them another 1/4" or so to bring the wheel in a little more.
If you like the D10s I have the original rear wheels I bought that I need to get rid of. They are for a 6" narrowed rear. I'll make you a smoking deal on them!

Little update and info. on my build. I've been kicking around the idea of putthing a hard top on my car and ditching the T-tops. Seemed like a good idea to get rid of the glass and knock out a little weight going back with the fiberglass top. Then after seeing Top Kempf's car, I got the bright idea to holesaw under the top to get some additional weight how where it wouldn't really show...
Pulling the sail panel off is a job in itself. Getting it off without cracking it was a chore and a half! Then it was off to start holesawing. I don't know how many have ever cut with a 3 1/2" hole saw but it takes a lot of drill to run it through metal. The problem with that is when it bites and stops the bit the drill likes to try and break your wrist! haha... Yesterday was a long day but this is how far I got. Planning on trying to finish up today. I can tell you for sure, when this little project is done that holesaw will be going in the trash so I can ever get a bright idea like this again!
The best part, if you look at the last pic you can see the weigt savings so far from the holesawing!![Cheers!!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_cheers.gif)

I saw the other car do that, now yours, I was trying to ignore it though as it looked like a big PITA but I may have to motivate myself to do it now, 16-17 lbs. When I first looked at that scale Pic, I thought it said 212.5 pounds, lol.
BTW, your car is looking great.

Also a little teaser of what's waiting to go on the motor when I get everything to put it together! Seems like it's always waiting for something. If rods ever come in, we'll put this thing to use!

It's been a while since I updated this so I thought I'd post up some pics. It's been a SLOW process but it's at least making progress. I usually only get to work on it on the weekends since the car is 2 hours from where I live.
After a lot of contemplating, I decided to pull the new 8.50 cert cage out and go ahead and build a 25.3 cage in. All the interior will end up being redone all over again. I can tell you the 3M spray glue is a PITA to get off with Ozite carpet!
Here's a couple pics of the floor of the cage coming together. Got the hard top put on as well.
