I started around 15psi cold and worked my way down. My best 60' to date is 1.62 and the tires were at 10psi cold. I think the rule of thumb is to keep lowering psi as long as your 60' is improving and you E.T. MPH isn't suffering.

Depends on the car, stick or auto? Weight?

I have always been told I am nuts, but I would run anywhere from 11.5 to 13 PSI cold.

You can work your way down until, you cup the tire and loose traction, or work your way up.

I prefer to work my way up. I start out with 11.5, and keep adding air untill I spin, then back down about .5PSI

With a regular 28x10.5 (non S) I'd start at about 13 to 13.5
