Default Design for a REAR bumper support

We plan to have a prototype done for the LSX shootout. Looking at what you would like to see, It appears that it will be universal for LS1 and LT1 cars. I am thinking a support tube arount the top of the cover and strurs down to the lower edge. Nothing complicated but it will support and hold in the wind.

What do you think.

Im willing to get one. I like the design your talking about. Maybe even on the corners having a mall bar run vertical down then at the end have a horseshoe bend around at the bottom to keep the bottom of the fender from flexing.

I'm also all for this rear support. If its made somewhat like your front support it will be good to go! I agree that the lower most corners at the bottom will need a little support so they aren't flapping in the wind............

Incorperate that into a parachute mount as well, and you have a winner.

For some odd reason I am not seeing a picture. When I quote your text either there is no link to an image or IMG tags.

I asked about that in a previous thread. Response was that they already make a parachute mount.

To have a rear bumper support and no chute mount off of it is kind of senseless.... I'd think that the chute mount would have incorperated the bumper support/tie in tabs anyway, only way that makes sense to me

I have not posted pics. I am looking for what you want to see.

The current chute mount does not have tabs to hold the rear cover. we can add them.

That would make the most sense. I just need something simple, light, bolt-on, and chromoly. What price range are we talking?

That's exactly what I need. My care barely fits into my trailer now, so I need a removable chute. Let me know for pricing and when they'll be available.

I like the idea of the rear bumper support with the chute mount.

I'd definately be in for this... Has there been any progress??? Will I still be able to see a prototype at the Shootout? Most importantly, what price range should we expect here?

We will have one at the shootout. Price is TBD still. We can say under 200.00. We'll see how far.
