We dare you to compare our converters to any on the market- seriously!.........Hmmmm

Ok. I'll take the pepsi challenge. I cut 1.23 to 1.25 60's every time out.

I'll also bet you got what you paid for, a worked on 4cyl converter.... There's no way you got a billet converter for that price.

What kind of 60's do you cut? Track times?

I get pissed at the stock stall in city driving so I think I'll be fine witht the 2800. If I build a track only car I'll get a bigger stall. This car is gonna see the track once every few months.

Thanks

I agree that a bigger stall would be better for the track but I do alot of around town driving, pluse I can change it up later if I turn this into a track only car. I wouldn't want to drive my car if I had a 4000 stall.

you ever driven a stalled car?

your heads/cam car and stock stall is going to suck *****, pending your setup it may even push through the brakes.

good luck with it.

read the post better next time i said it wasnt billet. Theres a reason so many big name racers run PTC converters. Theres about 5 single digit 1/4 mile cars in my area that run PTC converters. Lets not turn this sponsor thread into a pissing match. The automatics not even in it yet. so i have no track times for you

it only takes about 2k rpms to get the car moving. you get used to it really quickly. i previously had a 3200 stall, and after about a week i couldnt even tell the difference between it and stock one just driving around town. my car is my dd too.

i know, but i just wanted to get some info. I have never driven a stalled car, but am looking to get one when i pick up my camaro. It will be a DD, & I can not have it crap out on me. Stock 10 bolt, & I will be going to the track atleast 2 times per months. What Stall Should I get, I heard 3200 is pretty safe, but i think 3600 i would enjoy more.??? Also, how does a stall work from a roll? etc, etc... Any info you have that would be usefull to me, let me know.

I'm not starting a pissing match... The OP should just know that there's a BIG difference between a billet converter and a reworked stock converter. You failed to put that in your post initially and we both edited our posts to that effect. I read the thread and 100% positive that your $400 converter shares nothing in common with the converters from the same manufacturer that run single digits unless they are track only cars.... You can't have a converter like you have if you make that kind of power and expect it to be streetable... The big name guys are running billet bolt together 'verters. Most from Neil Chance or the like. I have no doubt PTC can make a good converter as well, but it sure as hell is going to be more than 400 bucks.

My car kept a 10 bolt alive to 10.0 with a yank eliminator 3600 for a full season.... 1.4doh 60's and all... That's plenty of time to save for a 9". Autos (without brakes) are super easy on the rest of the driveline... A 4l60 will be the death of you though

now were talkin. youd def enjoy a 3600. normal driving you cant tell too much difference then stock like i said about, but wot and from a roll (below 45mph) they really wake the car up and pulls alot harder. after 45ish MPH it will lock up and drive EXACTLY like stock. Do some reading in the automatic section and see what everyone else is saying. dont waste your money and time on something that small.

It looks like a quality converter. The price seams to be in line with the market also.
It is nice to see more options out there also. Not everyone can afford a chance converter either.

I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for".

Agreed... Send me a free converter and I'll be happy to be a spokesman if it outperforms my yank!
