Default Confused and a little upset (more spray, better suspension, why isn't e.t. better?)

I ran my 98 trans am at lapeer dragway here in Michigan. I put new spark plugs the non-projected TR6 plug because I increased my 75 shot of nitrous to a 150 shot. I was cutting 2.0 60 foot times which is a huge improvement over my 2.2 I was doing with my stock suspension. But why I am confused is with that increased shot I was expecting to be low 12's high 11's. but instead I was running a best time of 12.6 @ 117 . I ran this time with a 75 shot last season. Does anyone know why nothing changed at all in my E.T.?

List of stuff done to the car? (gearing, converter stall, where are you hitting the spray)
What are the split times (1/8 mile, 60 foot, etc)?

Time of year can make about 3-5 tenths difference in the e.t. The mph supports 11s but if you aren't able to use it early on (regardless of suspension), then the time won't show it. Is the car tuned for the bottle? Did you do the jetting right or it could be rich.

Really need more info. First 2.0 60's are not good. What tires? was it 85deg out? Fuel pump stock? was the bottle full and up to pressure? I also go to lapeer,i live sort of close to it. i run 10's n/a at that track. I love the owner,he always says ''are you gunna run her today''.lol

The weather and DA is a big factor in et/mph. How was the waether from the last time you ran at the track? Just something to consider...

On the bottle I doubt there is .3-.5 difference from the weather. NA for sure but not that much on spray maybe .1-.3

If you only getting a 2.0 60ft time then thats part of the issue. You might be blowing it straight thru the converter and what kit do you have?

The 2.2 to 2.0 60 ft jump is going to be attributed to your suspension changes. Im assuming you still have a 10 bolt and arent spraying right off the line so youre not going to gain a super amount. But your 330 time shouldve been at least 3 tenths better than your 2.2 60 ft 330 time.

Sounds almost like you were losing horsepower up top possibly by way of air conditions.

something isnt right fo sho..

what solenoids are you running? The solenoids may not be up to the task of flowing enough. I had that problem before... picked up .03 and 1mph going from a 100 to a 150

what was the mph comparison between the 75 and 150 passes?

the tranny could not be holding properly, or like said above it could be the converter.

a tranny can still shift fine and drive good but once you throw some hp to it a stock 4l60 will slip and you may not be able to feel it right off.
