LOL Fuel! Yeah dont we all make mistakes. Breaking parts is what racing is alll about, but it is more costly in the shakedowns, when you have just spent so long and so much money to build the car. After a season or two of consistant runs it seems nothing to pull down the engine and freshen it up. Good luck with the rebuild though man, it is one tough sounding and looking combo, and I'm diggin the n20 with so many guys going turbo!!

Guys here is what I have been working on, fitting the rear hatch. Shows some of the work required to fit one, and the bracketry I made to do so. Im working on the top now I have made one set of mounts trial fitted them but when welded Im thinking that they are 3mm to low so I will be adressing this.

Let me know what you guys think. Catch ya.

Couple more pics......

Were I really need the hatch to sit is here nearly level with the roof not 3mm down like the original hatch, very important area!!

The ears that need to be mounted.......

I ordered a gelgoat repair kit to alter the bonnet and fix the holes in the hatch were I have decided the hatch has to go up abit and the body monts will be closer to the corners.

Anyway, catch ya.

Hey guys, got a couple things off the to do list. The hatch is now finished up, finally it is a good fit in the end but not a real easy task by any means!

I also added the reinforced plates to the rails for the choot support.

The bender I used, and a bracket that I made for the hatch.

Now Im back onto the diff cutout in the transtunnel. I hope chuck has some parts there for me, getting things underway.
Anyway, catch ya.

Thanks Dennis, Im just trying to get the fabrication basically out of the way before the diff assembly arrives!! I have got to push hard, but I dont think that you are in any danger of being passed very soon!! LOL. I have lots of work to go.
Im working on the tunnel now, got some templates made for the sides got to do the top and start to fabricate it out of steel!
But im working on the wagon today, I had to get a new shifter as the other one isnt working correctly. So now im running the proratchet for reliability and performance!
Fuel I hope things are coming back together for you man. Have you managed to make some rebuild progress?? Keep us posted man, I cant wait to see your car back in action!!
Catch ya.

Don't blame yourself for making as you mentioned, a stupid mistake.
When you get thrown out of rhythm, things like this happens.
First reaction when a car stalls is to attempt a restart.
That's why so many nitrous cars have had this very same situation.

Good luck getting it back together.

That getting out of rhythm, is what prevented me from winning 10 grand and a big *** Napa tool box full of tools in 2008. I closed the bottle to prevent this from happening, when I started the car, and the being out of rhythm.. is why I forgot to open the damn thing.

I didn't hurt anything, and it didn't "cost" me anything, but the ego sure took a beating and I still haven't forgotten about it.... still one of the main reasons I want nothing to do with putting a bottle back in the car if I can get where I want to be without it, I'll never run it again.

Hey guys, not much has been happening here. Hope you guys are getting somethings done!

Im about to organise the travel limiters for the front, Is there any real method in the install?

Looks like I will have enough adjustment in the kit with the springs at nearly full height, so I'm going to go with that.

Still hangin on my diff from chuck, but I have got the rearend nearly all ready for the install.

So im trying to finish up the front end now, it would be nice to beable to weld the trans tunnel back up!

Anyone know how the front doorglass is removed??

Anyway catch ya.
