Default 408/TH400/S480 shakedown with vid's

Well,

Took too many 3am nights to count in the last couple of weeks, and insane amount of hours over the past 2 years, but the car made it's shakedown passes yesterday and we are still alive!

It was HOT yesterday, around 91* on my best pass.

1st pass off trailer:
1.41 60'
6.2 1/8
Let out before 1/4 to check the car out

2nd pass:
*line lock wiring gave me problems
*tire shake
1.7 60'
6.7@112
10.4@134

Last pass was dead in the heat:
60': 1.41
1/8: 6.2@111
1/4: 9.83@133

WAY faster than we were expecting!

This was done on:
275/60/15
3640 raceweight
7lbs off the wastegate only
2500rpm 2step on the trans brake
19psi in tires
DA: 2500

I NEVER thought it was going to just hook and book like that on the 275s either. Hahahaha

What kind of power is that thing making? Hooks like a champ on those 275s. I cant get mine to hook on 325s. What type of tire are you using?

Trust me, I wasn't expecting it either!!!

275/60/15 M/T Drag Radial

That was actually 19psi in the tires on that pass

-Drag bar set at neutral plus .5 crank preload1

-Front shocks 2/2
-Rear shocks D6/P7
-TA was 3* of seperation with -2 on the rear end angle(Midwest chassis TA)
-STOCK front suspension
-shocks are Hal QA1 F series 12 way single adjustables

O yea, and the car is just on the wastegate spring. That was 7psi. It was 640 to the wheels on a load bearing dyno-dynamics dyno......

Lest i not forget, the Converter is MONEY for this car!!!! Big props to FTI on that one!

I'm not dragging this thing all the way out there just to get embarrassed. I'll just stay here and race all the slow Mustangs.

We left on about 3lbs off the transbrake. Definately a soft run, but still got down a 1.41 60'!

The turbo is a Borg Warner s480. It's a t6 80mm.
