Solid roller on a street driven car?
just want to see what experience you guys have had with solid roller engine on the street. This will by no means be a daily driven car just weekends.

Edelbrock intake still in the box for injectors, Edelbrock hat horn custom low rise fits under stock hood.

You can do it! Way back when I had my mustang (90's) it was set up with solid roller stuff, I checked the lash every oil change, and it never seemed to change. Initially, it was set, and about 250 miles later we had to relash it, then about 500 more we relashed it again, and then probably 1000 miles relashed it again, but after that it seemed to stay pretty good. I always just figured that was break in of everything, then it was pretty happy after that.

Get the motor up to temp and then you use a feeler guage on the base circle and readjust the rocker poly locks

I ran a solid roller cam on my street/strip 383SBC for several years with no problems. I would just check the lash a couple times a year. It needed little or no adjustment. If you have good rockers they will keep their lash settings, the main thing is just checking it once in awhile.

I'd set the lash COLD, then check one cylinder with the motor at operating temp and adjust your cold lash accordingly. If you try to set them hot, by the time you get to the last valve, the lash will be all over the place.
I'm curious what springs you plan on running with that, and pushrods as well.

you need to let a professional, with lots of experience with solid roller valvetrains, do your whole setup. You're in way over your head...

Running a solid roller requires a much higher pressure valve springs. Those Patriot gold ain't gonna cut it.
