Gona order this tool for myself. I think this is the right one.

NewEra has used input shaft I cut, I would use when I was working there. That works so much better then the plastic tool. Do a slight circle pattern beofre the PP full tightens up and turn it one way to aline muti disks, and the trans seats easy.

Never noticed the RXT slipping but it shouldn't smell that it looks do me metallic. Didn't get my 1.3 goal but my ETdrags were 4 years old, have a new set so should get that. You can slip the clutch a little like I was hoping. Much needed for racing on 275 Dr I had so run for some classes, been hi 1.4s- 1.49's and some 1.48x's that I think is really good for DRs. And Only with about 6-7 passes on them. And there were some used MT I bought form a local cheap, that drove on them 24/7 (no trailer). Not killed or anything but not a new fresh set.

My rst took a **** at the track. It only had about 4k miles on it. I had multiple 1.5x 60fts on it with dr's and a 6 speed. Mcleod told me that clutch wasn't made for "competition use" lol.
I have since upgraded to an rxt and it feels the same as my old rst

i got the RXT, their billet steel flywheel , and a speed bleeder for like 1250 bucks from Tick Performance. On my full weight car with cage i was low 10's@135 on spray, 1.4x 60 fts and driven pretty regularly on the street. When I sold the car I had about 75 passes on motor, 10 on spray, and 3k street miles on it, felt just as good as it did right after the break in miles.
