Im thinking 200-250 should get the job done. Only prob is I think the plate kit will be maxed out right about there with the LT1 intake.

Car will go into the 9's... but if ya change that intake, you will be able to get away with about 75 hp less jet, and you won't have 1/2 the distribution/cyl to cyl imbalance problems... engine will stay together ALOT longer....

If the right intake pops up I might grab it. I just missed out on 2 Vic Es already converted to fit LT1 heads. Roadtrips is a bit out of my price range and hes not sure hes going to sell it yet.

just throwin it out there, but since you've got access to the mill and stuff, why not just convert an intake yourself? you could get a gen I sbc carb super victor and add the bungs and modify the center bolt holes

The intake has it's limit. Larry's car is spraying about 200 I think, with the same plate kit, and running solid 9's. It all depends on how far you want to go with your car. Yeah, single plane Victor E would be something to look into if you want more than just 9's Can't wait to see your new combo
